ROLE SUMMARY

The Manager, Integrated Solutions & Intelligent Assistants is responsible for the life-cycle support of all integrated solutions and Intelligent Assistants (Chatbots, AI and Machine Learning) delivered by the Platform and Customer Tower organizations at Pfizer.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Alignment with Customer and Platform Support leads as well as Solution Delivery organizations.

    Works closely with platform engineering and development teams to ensure continuous knowledge transfer and alignment with solution requirements and capabilities.Helps the organization partner with DevOps leads to establish clear feedback loop processes and metrics between operations responsibilities and development team expectations, including providing feedback of improvements / changes needed to support efficient operations processes.

  • Vendor Management

    Will assist in management responsibilities for vendor relations associated with contracted resources and licensed services.Based on division of responsibilities within the organization, will be responsible for managing vendor Quarterly Business Reports (QBR) meetings and will align to standardize on metrics across the organization.

  • Financial Management

    Will contribute to either direct or consolidated managed service agreements for the role's specific areas of responsibility. Will ensure that monthly invoicing is closely tracked to ensure alignment with services delivered.Will continually seek to optimize processes and tools to improve financial efficiency.

  • L3/L4 Support Services

    Ability to provide lifecycle support for all Integrated Solutions & Intelligent Assistant assets in a consistent manner with consistent quality of service while fully engaging with L1-L4 support and platform engineering teams.Establish service tiers as appropriate and ensure the elimination of unneeded infrastructure and process.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management or relevant disciplines.

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience as an information technology professional in an environment with large scale deployments of Integrated Solutions & Intelligent Assistants

  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) disciplines such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Text Analytics and associated development lifecycles

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically solve business and technical problems using innovative approaches

  • Change Management and Quality Assurance expertise with deep knowledge in ITIL \ SDLC principles.

  • The ability to work independently or in a group, remotely or on-site, with technical and non-technical staff at all levels of partner and client organizations.

  • Experience with building teams, processes and procedure.

  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.

  • Strong communication skills with people at all levels of experience and technical ability.

  • Prior experience managing contracted resources and developing statements of work with 3rd party vendors.

  • Relevant experience within information technology roles with increasing responsibility designing, delivering, and maintaining large-scale, global systems & platforms.

  • Awareness of classic and new design patterns and ability to help others recognize them and use them component design

  • Consistently abreast of new advancements in associated technologies, including staying in sync with announcements from key vendors throughout the year and via annual developer conference material.

  • Life-long learner mentality with a desire to be the key knowledge resource in the domain.
